Australia beat England by 7 wickets in the first one day match. Travis Head led the world champions with the bat. His unbeaten innings of 154 runs basically made Harry Brook’s team lose. Batting first, England scored 315 runs in 49.4 overs. In response, Australia won by scoring 317 runs for 3 wickets in 44 overs.
The batters of both teams batted comfortably in Nottingham’s 22 yards. Although England did not start well. Opener Phil Salt (17) was out quickly.
