Former Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Saber Hossain Chowdhury has been arrested by the Detective Police (DB).
He was arrested from Gulshan area of the capital on Sunday (October 6) afternoon.
DMP Media and Public Relations Department Deputy Police Commissioner (DC) Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed this information.
He said, this afternoon a team of DB conducted a raid at the residence of former minister Saber Hossain Chowdhury in Gulshan. He was later arrested in the operation. Several cases have been filed against this arrested former minister. He is now in DB office.
