At least 26 people have been killed as Monsoon Cyclone Trami hit the Philippines. The typhoon caused heavy rains, floods and landslides in the northwestern coast of the Philippines.

According to reports, at least 14 people died on Thursday alone as the monsoon storm ‘Trami’ turned into a cyclone and hit Bikal region and Naga town. In addition, a total of 26 people have been killed, including 12 in the last few days.
The authorities also said that as a result of this cyclone, 150,000 people left their homes and took shelter in shelters.
Cyclone ‘Trami’ is locally called ‘Christine’. It also caused heavy rains, floods and landslides in the Lujo region.
The cyclone is currently moving at 95 kilometers per hour (59 kilometers per hour) across the mountainous northern region, moving through the Cordillera and heading toward the South China Sea, the country’s meteorological center said.
