The United States has given a message to advance economic activities with Bangladesh along with upholding human rights.
On Sunday (September 15) morning, the US delegation visiting Dhaka State Guest House Padma held a meeting with Foreign Affairs Adviser Md. Touhid Hossain who gave this message after the meeting.
A message from the US Embassy sent to the media said, “It was a pleasure to meet the Foreign Affairs Adviser at the State Guest House Padma.” We are committed to supporting our partner Bangladesh in expanding economic activity, building institutional capacity, upholding human rights and addressing the risks of climate change.
The US delegation at the meeting was led by Brent Neiman, Deputy Under Secretary of the US Department of Revenue. US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia Donald Lu was present at the meeting.
