According to the report citing the Ministry of Health, Israel attacked the air route along the northern border of Lebanon on Monday (September 23). The attack was carried out after people were ordered to evacuate the area. At least 558 people including doctors have been killed in this incident so far. Among the dead are 50 children. Also, 1,835 people have been injured so far.

Meanwhile, the United Kingdom’s news agency Reuters reported that Israel carried out hundreds of airstrikes targeting Lebanon’s Hezbollah on Monday. Israel launched a massive offensive on Monday in the wake of attacks and counter-attacks between Hamas and Israel.

Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Galant said in a video message, “We have launched a more widespread attack in Lebanon. We will continue this attack until we achieve our goal. We want our northerners to return home safely.

Gallant added, “We are targeting Iran-backed Hezbollah strongholds in southern Lebanon, the Bekaa Valley in the east, and northern areas near Syria.”

Meanwhile, the Israeli military continued to attack the Gaza Strip. At least 12 Palestinians have been killed across the region in the past 24 hours.
