Three Israeli soldiers have died in the besieged Gaza Strip. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced their deaths on Friday (October 25).

The occupation defense forces said the three soldiers were killed when a bomb targeted a tank in Gaza’s Jabalia. Several other soldiers were injured in the incident. They were taken to hospital for treatment. The information about the death of the slain soldiers has been informed to their families. Israel did not clarify whether the soldiers were killed in attacks by Hamas or another armed group.

Earlier, five Israeli soldiers were killed in an attack by Lebanon’s powerful armed group Hezbollah. They came under attack last night after going to Lebanon to take part in the ground attack. Five people were killed and 19 other soldiers were injured. Four of the 19 injured are in serious condition.
All of them were reserve troops of the 89th Battalion of the 8th Armored Brigade. Meanwhile, a Maori soldier was serving as the deputy commander of the battalion.
(IDF) said in their preliminary information that these soldiers who were killed were staying in a village in southern Lebanon. At that time Hezbollah fighters fired rockets at them. Other soldiers were delivering supplies/weapons to those soldiers when they came under attack.

Defense forces also said that Hezbollah fired several rockets at the meeting point where the logistics were being received. One of the rockets hit a house. In front of which the soldiers were standing. Some of those who went to deliver the logistics were also injured.

All the injured were rescued and taken to the hospital as soon as possible. In addition, another soldier was injured in South Lebanon this morning. He was also rescued and taken to hospital.
