Hajjatri registration period has been extended by 15 days. Those who wish to go to Hajj in 2025 can register until December 15. This information was informed in a circular of the Ministry of Religious Affairs on Thursday (November 28).
It is said in the circular that for the information of the people who want to go for Hajj in 2025, Hajj agencies, banks involved in Hajj activities, it is being informed that the registration period for Hajj pilgrims through both public and private means has been extended till December 15.
During this period, preliminary registration can be done by depositing three lakh taka and at the same time pilgrims are requested to complete the final registration by paying the full amount of the Hajj package. The notification also informed that no more time will be extended after this time.

The preliminary registration of Hajj started from last September 1. About 40,000 Hajj pilgrims have been registered by government and private organizations till last Thursday. It was supposed to end tomorrow, November 30. But still a large part of the quota remains vacant.
