ISKCON Bangladesh General Secretary Charu Chandra Das Brahmachari claimed that Chinmoy was dismissed from all positions of ISKCON long ago due to breach of organizational discipline.

He said that ISKCON is not responsible in any way for any speech and activities of Chinmoy Krishna Das.

He said these things in a press conference on Thursday (November 28).

The general secretary of ISKCON Bangladesh said, “There is an attempt to unfairly blame ISKCON Bangladesh on the death of lawyer Saiful Islam Alif in Chittagong. We would like to make it clear that ISKCON Bangladesh has no involvement with such heinous incidents and ongoing agitations. This lie has now reached such a level that issues like road accidents are being termed as ISKCON conspiracies.

Charu Chandra Das said, “We have already cleared the issue several times through press conferences and at various levels of government and administration. But unfortunately, certain quarters are deliberately spreading false propaganda against our organization and raising absurd demands like banning ISKCON.”

‘We would like to re-inform everyone that several months ago, Leelaraj Gaur Das, Principal of the Promoter Sri Krishna Mandir, Member Independent Gaurang Das and Chinay Krishna Das, Principal of Chittagong Pundarik Dham were suspended from all organizational functions of ISKCON including organizational posts/designations of ISKCON for breach of organizational discipline. That is, the activities carried out by them Not the activities of ISKCON.

Charu Chandra said, “It was informed through the official statement on October 3 that Chinmoy Krishna Das (Chandan Kumar Dhar) is not the spokesperson of ISKCON Bangladesh. So his statement is completely personal. Therefore, ISKCON Bangladesh is not responsible in any way for the statements and actions of Leelaraj Gaur Das, Vasantar Gaurang Das and Chinmay Krishna Das.’
